<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a blazed diffractive grating which is advantageous in manufacturing efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the blazed diffractive grating includes: a first step of cutting a workpiece at a first position using a cutting tool having a first cutting blade and a second cutting blade to form a first groove having a first surface and a second surface that are formed by the first cutting blade and the second cutting blade, respectively; a second step of cutting the workpiece using the cutting tool at a second position that is separated from the first position by a grating pitch to form a second groove after the first step; and a third step of cutting the first surface using the cutting tool while the second cutting blade is separated from the second surface of the first groove at a third position that is positioned between the first position and the second position to form a blazed surface of the first groove by the first cutting blade after the second step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
