<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display switching device capable of quickly switching a display and quickly returning a pointer to a current time. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission wheel 23, or a rotary wheel rotated in the positive direction by the rotation in the positive rotation direction of a second stepping motor 14 that is a motor capable of rotating positively and reversely, is formed with a transmission protrusion 23a, or a locking portion. A ratchet 24 that is rotatably provided with its coaxially superposed on the transmission wheel 23 rotates a feed wheel 25 intermittently by a prescribed angle for every rotation so as to switch the display of a display wheel 4. The ratchet is formed with a long hole 30, or an engagement portion to which the transmission protrusion 23a is movably locked, along the circumferential direction. Accordingly, the display switching device positively rotates the second stepping motor 14 at a high speed to quickly switch the display of the display wheel 4, and further, reversely rotates the second stepping motor 14 at a high speed so as to quickly return an hour hand 3, or the pointer to the current time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
