<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooking device that is properly interlocked with a ventilator, even if resetting is made for some reason. <P>SOLUTION: When heating of food is started by a heating means after a heating change-over switch is turned on by a user, a ventilation switch signal which means starting of ventilation is issued to the ventilator. Alternatively, if the heating change-over switch is turned off to stop heating, a ventilation switch signal meaning interruption of ventilation is issued. When the ventilation switch signal is issued, a content instructing either start or stop of ventilation is stored in a nonvolatile manner. In the case of re-triggering from a reset state, it is determined whether the ventilator is correctly interlocked based on a setting state of the heating change-over switch as well as the content stored in the nonvolatile manner.
