DIE FOR MOLDING CVJ BOOT, AND PROCESS FOR MOLDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve injection molding of a CVJ (constant velocity joint) boot having a bellows part as large undercuts on an inner circumferential surface.

SOLUTION: A plurality of pairs of split molds 4 and 5 for molding the inner circumferential surface of a molding are radially arranged around a core. Each pair of split molds are axially and sequentially moved. Mold release is performed by moving the split molds radially inward into a space formed between the split molds moved axially. The radial moving distance is large so that the bellows part is released easily.
