WAVE POWER GENERATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A wave-power generation apparatus is provided to generate huge wave power through the smooth motion of a floating unit while a contact surface with wave increases. CONSTITUTION: A wave-power generation apparatus comprises a guide bar, a fixing unit(105), a floating unit(101), and a power generation unit(110). One end of the guide bar is inserted under the water. The fixing unit fixes the guide bar under the water. The upper part of the floating unit is wide and the lower part is narrow in order to be vertically applied with wave power. The floating unit moves along with the guide bar by wave while round plates(101c) are formed on the outer surface of the floating unit. The power generation unit generates torque for operating a power generator or a compressor using the vertical motion of the floating unit.
