<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient system that has fewer restrictions of fiber volume and is also free of clogged material caused by tips such as fiber or resin in fiber placement operation, and has less operation stopping time so as to fabricate a composite fiber product. <P>SOLUTION: The fiber placement system includes: a motion system having a robotic arm 162; a fiber-placement layup mandrel 110 mounted on the robotic arm 162; and a fiber-placement delivery system 120 having a delivery head 124.
