<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator allowing operation of the elevator for disaster countermeasures to be checked in a machine room. <P>SOLUTION: This elevator 10 where a car 20 is preset to perform operation for disaster countermeasures when a disaster occurs includes: a camera 22 in the car for imaging a condition in the car 20; a changeover switch part 32 for changing over the operation mode of the elevator 10 to a normal mode or a check mode; and a display part 34 arranged in a machine room 8 including the changeover switch part 32 for displaying the image imaged by the camera 22 in the car; wherein the camera 22 in the car images the operation for disaster countermeasures of the car 20 when the operation mode is changed over from the normal mode to the check mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
