<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated endless belt for an image forming apparatus for high image quality and high durability, the belt being excellent in crack resistance and scratch resistance, the ability to transfer toner, the ability to clean away toner, and the ability to prevent toner filming. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated endless belt for an image forming apparatus has a base material layer and a coating layer formed on the base material layer and having a thickness of 0.2 μm or more but less than 2.0 μm. The coating layer is formed by blending 20 to 60 wt.% of metal filler with an activation energy line and/or thermal cross-linked resin. If surface electric resistivities measured for 10 seconds under the application of voltages 10 V and 1000 V are SR (10 V) and SR (1000 V) respectively, the following conditions (1) to (3) are satisfied: (1) the coating layer SR(10 V)=3×10<SP POS="POST">8</SP>to 3×10<SP POS="POST">13</SP>Ω, (2) the coating layer SR(10 V)/SR(1000 V)≤10, and (3) the base material layer SR(10 V)/the coating layer SR(10 V)=0.001 to 500. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
