<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality toner carrier which has an excellent charge imparting property with small difference under an environment having high temperature and high humidity and under an environment having low temperature and low humidity and reduces negative effect on picture image, a process cartridge using the toner carrier, and an electrophotographic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A toner carrier has a substrate surface provided with a surface layer having conductivity. The surface layer contains a graft copolymer composed of a main chain which constitutes a charge imparted segment and a side chain which connects to the main chain and constitutes a hydrophobic segment having a smaller polymerization degree compared to the main chain, a resin having at least one polyol component selected from a group constituting of polypropylene glycol, polytetramethylene glycol, polyester, polycarbonate, polybutadiene, polyisoprene, and acryl which is cross-linked with polyisocyanate and/or melamine, or a phenol resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
