<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check ejection of ink with a simpler method. <P>SOLUTION: A printing device includes: a head that contains a first nozzle row in which a plurality of nozzles that jet a first colored ink are arranged in a predetermined direction and a second nozzle row in which the plurality of nozzles that jet a second colored ink of which color is different from the first ink are arranged in the predetermined direction and wherein the nozzles of the first nozzle row and the nozzles of the second nozzle row are provided at the same position with respect to the predetermined direction; a displacement part which makes the relative position of the head and the medium relatively displace in the direction to intersect the predetermined direction; and a control part which makes the medium form a first pattern containing dots of the first pattern by dot formation operation to jet the ink while performing relative displacement and makes the second pattern containing the dots of the second ink formed on the first pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
