<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device for a lid or toilet seat of a toilet bowl into which a worm gear is incorporated highly accurately, and which achieves good engagement of the worm gear and inhibits generation of abnormal abrasion. <P>SOLUTION: The opening/closing device 7 includes a casing 10 for housing a toilet lid driving shaft 20, a motor 50, the worm gear 60, and rotation transmitting units 71 and 72. In the opening/closing device, the motor 50 and the worm gear 60 are assembled onto a bracket 100, and the bracket 100 is fixed in the casing 10. A guide 132 formed at the end of a restricting plate portion 130 of the bracket 100 has a lower side piece 133, receives the end of a motor shaft 52 receiving a stress from the worm wheel 62, inhibits bending of the motor shaft 52, and the engagement of the worm gear 60 is held appropriately. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
