66KV LIGHT-CONTROLLED WATER-COOLED THYRISTOR VALVE BANK

A light-controlled thyristor valve bank with water-cooled heat radiation. The valve bank is of a double-tower structure. A single phase valve bank is composed of two left and right valve units connected in series. A soft copper foil contactor is used to be connected between the left and right valve units. The pipe unit of each valve unit is arranged in the middle of the valve unit. The thyristor unit (1) which needs to be water-cooled and the water-cooled resistor (11) of the resistance-capacitance protection unit (3) are arranged at both sides of the pipe unit. Other elements without water cooling of the resistance-capacitance protection unit (3) except the water-cooled resistor (11), the wiring slot unit (6), and a corona ring (7) are arranged around the valve bank. The water-cooled resistor (11) and a damp capacitor (12) are applied in a centralized arrangement manner and arranged on a blocking bracket side by side. The resistance-capacitance protection unit (3) is used with modularization design. Two kinds of eudipleural resistance-capacitance protection unit can be equipped with the same water-cooled resistor (11) and damp capacitor (12) arranged on the blocking bracket. It has the advantage of high reliability, small floor space, separately arranged electrical path and water path, and pure water cooling.
