METHOD OF MANUFACTURING BIFUNCTIONAL ADDITIVES FOR CAPACITOR

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing capacitor additives is provided to improve energy and power density of a carbon nano tube by making the carbon nano tube into a thin pore structure through chemical activation treatment. CONSTITUTION: A multilayered carbon nano tube to be used as capacitor additives is prepared. A pore is formed by processing the surface of the multilayered carbon nano tube through chemical activation treatment. The multilayered carbon nano tube reacts with powder or an aqueous solution selected either sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide. The pore is formed into a depth of 1 to 5nm. The multilayered carbon nano tube in which the pore is formed is heat-treated. The average diameter of the multilayered carbon nano tube is 150nm.
