<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidation catalyst capable of improving cleaning performance at low temperatures of PM. <P>SOLUTION: In the oxidation catalyst, an inner layer including a catalyst A and a surface layer including a catalyst B are laminated in this order in a catalyst carrier. The catalyst A is a fluorite-type composite oxide including cerium. The catalyst B is a perovskite-type composite oxide. The inner layer further includes the catalyst B. The ratio of the catalyst A and the catalyst B included in the inner layer (catalyst A: catalyst B) is 80:20-10:90 in mass ratio. The catalyst B is expressed by a following general formula (1) LXO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>(in the formula, L is at least one selected from a group consisting of lanthanum (La), praseodymium (Pr), and yttrium (Y), and X is iron (Fe)). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
