<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bypass for breakaway an output switching unit for a protective relay which is found faulty and use a remaining sound protective relay for protection, even at restart time. <P>SOLUTION: A digital protective relay duplexed bypass system comprises a continuous monitoring unit 16 which, if, in a protective relay duplexed structure having a plurality of relay main units 11-15 for detecting system abnormality, which turns a plurality of output switching units simultaneously on and outputs a trip directive when system abnormality is detected, operational abnormality continues even after restart processing, outputs an abnormality alarm based on operational abnormality of the relay main units; a bypass circuit 8 which, upon receiving this abnormality alarm, bypasses the corresponding output switching unit; a processing normal output unit 18 which outputs processing normal when processing operations of the relay main units are all normal and outputs a bypass complement signal when a restart is in progress; and a bypass complementary circuit 9 which bypasses the corresponding output switching unit when a bypass complement signal is received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
