<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording material which retains a temporally stable image even under a high-temperature environment with an excellent color developing property and erasability. <P>SOLUTION: The reversible thermal recording material includes a reversible thermal recording layer provided on a support, the layer containing a dye precursor which is generally colorless or hypochromic and a reversible developer which forms a relatively colored state and an erased state by a difference in heating temperature and/or cooling rate after heating.
