OPTICAL FIBER HOLDING MEMBER, OPTICAL FIBER HOLDING STRUCTURE, UNIFICATION METHOD OF OPTICAL FIBERS AND FUSION METHOD OF OPTICAL FIBERS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber holding member and others that have a simple structure and prevent optical fiber core wires from falling off a holding part when arranging the optical fiber core wires in series.

SOLUTION: A side of a body part 3 in a longitudinal direction is provided with a temporarily holding part 5 that is openable and closable by a hinge 23a. A main holding part 7 that is openable and closable by a hinge 23b in the same direction as the temporarily holding part 5 is provided in parallel to the temporarily holding part 5. A reverse face of the temporarily holding part 5 is provided with a step part 11. When closing the temporarily holding part 5, a concave part is formed on a top face 3a of a portion facing the reverse face 5a of the temporarily holding part 5, and the concave part is provided with an elastic member 9. The elastic member 9 can transform easily so as to insert optical fibers in the after-mentioned optical fiber inserting work. A reverse face of the main holding part 7 is provided with an elastic member 15 of a second elastic member in its longitudinal direction.
