<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taking in/out device capable of easily moving a vacuum circuit breaker to a connecting position and a disconnecting position from the outside of a front door. <P>SOLUTION: A taking in/out device for a vacuum circuit breaker comprises a vacuum circuit breaker 1a having a breaking portion 5 for opening/closing a main circuit, an operating mechanism portion 3 for operating the breaking portion 5 to open/close, and a base plate 2 on which the operating mechanism portion 3 is fixed; and a main circuit unit portion 1b to/from which contact pieces 6 and 7 provided on the breaking portion 5 contact and separate, on which main circuit disconnecting portions 14 and 15 penetratingly fixed to a partition plate 13 and the partition plate 13 are fixed, and having a floor plate 12 on which the base plate 2 freely moves. On the floor plate 12, a fixing base 10 for rotatably fixing a taking in/out rod 9 composed of an end portion 9a in which a handle 11 is fitted and a screw portion 9b is fixed.
