摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device capable of performing appropriate driving support corresponding to a standing-on-guard degree of a driver. <P>SOLUTION: In a driving support device, an ECU 5 includes: a risk degree calculation part 9 for calculating a risk degree of a subject vehicle based on obstacles around the subject vehicle and conditions of the subject vehicle; a standing-on-guard degree calculation part 10 for calculating the standing-on-guard degree of a driver thereof based on the conditions of the subject vehicle and the driver; and a support mode determination part 11. The support mode determination part 11 includes: a map storage 14 for storing a support map indicating the relation between the risk degree, the standing-on-guard degree, and multiple support modes; and a support mode selection part 15 for selecting, by use of the support map, a support mode corresponding to the risk degree of the subject vehicle and the standing-on-guard degree of the driver among the multiple support modes.
