<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the rolling vibration of an engine without causing abnormal gear noise. <P>SOLUTION: The engine vibration reducing device for an engine 1 which reduces the rolling vibration of the engine 1 includes: a motor generator 4 which is connected to a crankshaft 2 of the engine 1 so that a rotor 3 rotates in a direction opposite to the crankshaft 2; and a control means 5 which controls the motor generator 4. The control means 5 uses the rotor 3 of the motor generator 4 as a balancer by controlling the motor generator 4 to function as a motor when starting the engine 1 and by controlling the motor generator 4 to function as a generator during the operation of the engine 1. A non-contact type torque transmitting device 6 which transmits the torque between the engine 1 and the motor generator 4 by using magnetism is inserted between the engine 1 and the motor generator 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
