<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load distribution blade system in which data can be smoothly provided in response to a request from a client and system power consumption can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A load distribution blade receives data requests from a client up to a throughput threshold value and distributes the data requests to server blades. If data requests exceed the throughput threshold value, the data requests can be transferred to a load distribution blade of the next high priority, and processing can be prevented from being concentrated to partial load distribution blades more than fixed. Thus, when data requests from the client are a little, a load distribution blade to which processing is not assigned can be produced. At such a time, if operation can be implemented under a minimum power mode where operation is implemented with standby power or less, power consumption of the overall system can be reduced.
