<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television and an electronic apparatus which improve stability. <P>SOLUTION: A television comprises: a display device having a display screen; a housing which houses the display device and includes a first surface where a first opening, through which the display screen is exposed, is provided; a second surface located on the side opposite to the first surface and provided with a second opening; and a third surface spanning the first surface and the second surface; a battery housed in the second opening; and a support part protruding from the third surface of the housing and supporting the housing. The second opening is positioned so that the support part is located closer thereto than a center region of the second surface and has a wall part supporting the battery from the third surface side.
