<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a detecting unit prevented from fraudulently detecting a game ball. <P>SOLUTION: A Pachinko game machine 1 includes: a Yakumono (accessory) device 200 having an opening/closing member 211; a specific area 241 disposed inside the Yakumono device 200; the detection unit 317 for detecting a game ball passing through the specific area 241; an opening/closing member control unit 400 for controlling the opening/closing member 211; and a detection control unit 400 for enabling/disabling the detection of the game ball by the detection unit 317.
