<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplex broadcasting receiver capable of reducing throughput of program reception and reducing costs. <P>SOLUTION: A multiplex broadcasting receiver 100 includes: a Viterbi decoder 24 for performing Viterbi decoding processing in order to receive data for which two or more pieces of program data are multiplexed, having a structure based on an MPEG2-TS standard; an input buffer 32 for storing reception data outputted from the Viterbi decoder 24; a multiplexer 34 for separating the data on a reception object from the reception data stored in the input buffer 32; an RS decoder 38 for performing a Reed-Solomon decoding processing to the separated data; and a video decoder 42, an audio decoder 46 and a data service decoder 50 for performing decoding processing to the data after error correction by the Reed-Solomon decoding processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
