<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a group A Streptcoccal (GAS) antigen useful for obtaining immunity against supprative infection. <P>SOLUTION: This composition contains at least one active factor selected from the group consisting of (a) a surface-exposed GAS antigen by at least one amino acid shorter than a GAS protein, including a surface-exposed domain of the GAS protein, where the GAS protein is selected from the group consisting of a specific GAS protein, an M protein, SagA, Sfb1 and Shp, (b) a nucleic acid molecule encoding the GAS antigen and (C) an antibody binding specifically to the GAS antigen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
