MELTABLE POLYIMIDE MOULDING PLASTIC AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR

Disclosed are a meltable polyimide moulding plastic and a preparation method therefore. The method comprises: Step 1: preparation of a polyamic acid solution: reacting 2,3,3',4'-diphenyl ether tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride and diaminodiphenyl ether at an equal molar ratio for 3-5 hours at room temperature in an aprotic polar solvent, to prepare a polyamic acid solution; and Step 2: chemical imination: based on 100 parts by weight of the polyamic acid solution, adding 40-160 parts by weight of a dehydrating agent, 5-50 parts by weight of an organic base catalyst of a tertiary amine, and a non-polar aromatic hydrocarbon to the polyamic acid solution, and vigorously stirring for 0.5-2 hours, to precipitate a powder, which is filtered to obtain an a-type polyimide moulding plastic powder. Compared with an s-type polyimide, the a-type polyimide prepared by the method has a molding temperature decreased to 70°C, a mechanical performance at 220°C that is far better than that of the s-type polyimide, and a soluble and meltable property. The method for preparing the a-type polyimide moulding plastic powder provided in the present invention has the advantages of mild conditions, safe and convenient operations, and a high yield, thus having promising market prospects.
