The method involves receiving waste heat of an electronics module (3) e.g. sensor, by a passively heat conductor. The waste heat of the module is transported to a heat sink in a region of roof sheets (6), of a vehicle i.e. motor car, by a heat conductor. The heat conductor is provided with a warm pipe (2), and the heat sink is provided with a fin antenna (4) of the vehicle and a film cooling body that is arranged over a roof liner (5) of the vehicle. The module is arranged in the region of the roof sheets, where the warm pipe is transported to the heat sink by a Peltier-element. An independent claim is also included for a cooling device for a vehicle, comprising a passively heat conductor.
