<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device that restores a worm shaft having relatively moved in a direction separating from an output shaft to an original position. <P>SOLUTION: A shaft coupling 37 includes: an output shaft-side flange part 50 integrated with an output shaft 23a; output shaft-side insertion holes 50a penetrating the output shaft-side flange part 50; a worm shaft-side flange part 51 integrated with a worm shaft 35; and worm shaft-side insertion holes 51a penetrating the worm shaft-side flange part 51. The shaft coupling 37 further includes: connection members 52 inserted in both the insertion holes 50a, 51a for connecting both the flange parts 50, 51 to each other; and sleeves 60 inserted in the worm shaft-side insertion holes 51a.
