<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet having low core loss characteristic by performing a magnetic domain subdivision treatment by groove formation by a chemical means. <P>SOLUTION: In this grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet having a linear groove whose angle to the rolling right angle direction is within 45°, the existence frequency of fine grains whose length in the rolling direction on the bottom part of the groove is ≤1 mm is ≤10% (including the case of no fine grains), and a forsterite coating as much as ≥0.6 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>in terms of the Mg basis Metsuke (weight per unit area) per one side of the steel sheet is provided in the groove, and further the angle (β angle) of the (100) axis of secondary recrystallized grains facing to the rolling direction of the steel sheet, which is formed with respect to a rolling surface is ≤3° in terms of a mean value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
