摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building that reduces an impact on the building even when a malfunctioning of a vibration control device occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A freeing mechanism for releasing the fixation of dampers of a vibration control device to a building, and solenoids for activating the freeing mechanism are provided to detect an abnormal damper whose load is equal to or above a predetermined threshold (104) and to release the fixation of the damper to the building 10 (106) by activating the solenoid for the abnormal damper.
