摘要 The present invention relates to a solar cell and a manufacturing method therefor, which reduce a recombination rate by restraining minority carriers inside a substrate from moving to defects in the sides or surface of the substrate, and ultimately, can improve the photoelectric transformation efficiency of the solar cell. The solar cell according to the present invention comprises: a crystalline silicon substrate of a first conductivity type; a semiconductor layer of a second conductivity type formed on the front surface of the substrate; a trench for disconnection which partially disconnects the semiconductor layer of the second conductivity type; and a minority carrier barrier region of the first conductivity type which is formed under the trench for disconnection.
