PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a secondary battery and a secondary battery are provided to prevent low-voltage phenomena by minimizing dissolution phenomena of copper in electrolyte generated in secondary battery manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a secondary battery comprises the following steps: a structure formation step(S200) which adds an electrode current collector which includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator placed between the positive and the negative electrodes to a battery case; an electrolyte injection step(S210) which injects electrolyte into the battery case in which the electrode current collector is put; a voltage jumping step(S230) which applies jumping voltage to the electrode of the secondary battery; and a formation step which processed charge and discharge for the secondary battery over 1 time(S250).
