<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a degradation monitoring method for an electricity storage device and a degradation monitoring device thereof capable of easily calculating a degradation degree of a cycle life and a calendar life of the electricity storage device. <P>SOLUTION: Damage calculation units (2 and 3) perform steps for: acquiring a charge current value, a charge period, and a representative temperature of the electricity storage device while the electricity storage device is charged; calculating a cycle damage number (representative temperature) based on the obtained values, and integrating the cycle damage number (representative temperature); and acquiring a representative temperature of the electricity storage device in at least an operation state out of the operation state and a storage state, and an elapsed period at the representative temperature, calculating a calendar damage number based on acquired values of the representative temperature and the elapsed period, and integrating the calendar damage number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
