摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control facility for a burner system, which can simply and reliably correct drift of ionization current without exceeding the set limits of combustion values. <P>SOLUTION: In a second test step, an adjustment device adjusts each actuator toward a supply ratio corresponding to an air excess coefficient above a stoichiometric value of &lambda;=1. Alternatively, the adjustment device reduces the air excess coefficient by a value of &utri;&lambda;<-0.06 and changes the air coefficient to a value of &lambda;>1.05.
