<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide precursor glass for a lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode material and crystallized glass for a lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode material that can obtain a high battery capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The precursor glass for a lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode material includes as a glass composition, in mol, 20-50% of Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O, 20-40% of P<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">5</SB>, 0-40% of Fe<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 0-60% of MnO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and 0.1-2.4% of Nb<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">5</SB>, wherein (Fe<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>+MnO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>/2)/P<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">5</SB>≥0.85 in molar ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
