<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an information management system of an automatic transaction device to easily collect and store information on optional various apparatuses in a usable format. <P>SOLUTION: Management data 20 having a data structure in a previously-specified common format is collected from plural automatic transaction devices 12 having an optional data processing structure differing depending on each device type. Management data in the same format is also collected from apparatuses other than the automatic transaction devices, the apparatuses not being distinguished from the automatic transaction devices. Each piece of management data includes identification information 21 for distinguishing a management object. All pieces of the management data 20 are stored together in an information storage device 30 of a management server. Apparatus management means 46 reads out information on the apparatuses from the information storage device 30 using the identification information 21, converts the information into apparatus data 37, and stores the data in an apparatus data storage device 38.
