<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for confirming a financial instrument or approval of a user using a financial instrument. <P>SOLUTION: A transaction processor starts one or more confirmation transactions associated with instruments together with details (for example, types of transactions (for example, deposit, debit entry, and credit entry), amounts of the transactions, the number of the transactions, names or accounts of dealers or sellers associated with the transactions, etc.) which can be changed from one transaction to another transaction. The selected details (especially, which can be changed) are accumulated in the system. The user accesses information associated with the transactions on-line, by telephone, through calculation sheets, and so on. Then the user presents requested details to the system through a user interface. The requested details are compared with the stored details.
