<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform blur correction also for a high-frequency component of an image while reducing an operation amount required for a convolution operation. <P>SOLUTION: An input image is divided into plural bands to generate band division images. For the generated band division images corresponding to the respective plural bands, a convolution operation is executed using plural filters for performing blur correction.
