<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering system alleviating the touch of being caught caused upon start of steering, and achieving good steering feeling. <P>SOLUTION: A worm wheel 31 is formed by piling up a first lamination body 31a made of a metal, a second lamination body 31b made of a rubber and a third lamination body 31c made of a metal. Wheel teeth 32 are formed by piling up first tooth forming parts 32a formed on the first lamination body 31a, second tooth forming parts 32b formed on the second lamination body 31b, and third tooth forming parts 32c formed on the third lamination body 31c. In each of the second tooth forming parts 32b, a deformation part 35 is formed by the section which projects outward from each of abutting surfaces 321a, 321c of the first and third tooth forming parts 32a, 32c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
