<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing a frequency of function execution by a device other than a device specified by a user while sharing a universal device driver among a plurality of users. <P>SOLUTION: A universal device driver performing in an information processor executing an operating system, causes the information processor to execute: a registration process for, when a user of the operating system causes a device to execute a function by using the universal device driver, registering a logical device indicating the device (logical printer represented by a printer icon 41b) with the operating system; and a setting process for setting the logical device registered by the registration process as a default device for the user in the operating system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
