CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR UPDATING ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rational construction method for updating electric equipment capable of speedily shortening a construction period and a power outage.

SOLUTION: In a construction method for updating electric equipment which has: a main body 1 placed on a trestle 5 which has a space between the same and the ground below the same; and leg sections 5A installed in contact with a foundation 7 constructed on a ground surface 6, the method has the processes to: construct a new foundation 17 in conformity with new electric equipment by maintaining an existing foundation 7 for portions where the leg sections 5A of the trestle 5 of existing electric equipment contact and by utilizing the space below the trestle 5; remove the existing electric equipment together with the trestle 5 after constructing the new foundation 17; install and fix a new trestle 15 for the new electric equipment on the new foundation 17; and place a main body 11 of the new electric equipment on the trestle 15 of the new electric equipment.
