METHOD FOR PRODUCING SOLAR CELLS

The invention relates to a method for producing solar cells having at least the following method steps: a) producing a wafer made of a semiconductor material having an emitter layer on one side of the wafer, b) applying a metal coating to at least one side of the wafer, c) applying conductors to the one side of the wafer, d) heat treating the wafer, e) completely immersing the wafer in a reactive liquid, f) soaking the wafer in the reactive liquid for a predefined period of time, and g) removing the wafer from the reactive liquid. Treating the wafter with the reactive liquid reduces the transfer resistance between the conductor which consists of a sintered electrically conductive phase and the preferably high resistance emitter layer of the solar cell.
