<p>This light emitting device (100) is provided with a concave package (2) in which the inside wall surface (2b) is sloped, an LED element (4) disposed on the bottom surface (2a) of the package (2), and a wavelength conversion part (6) that converts the output light of the LED element (4) to light of a specific wavelength. In the light emitting device (100), the wavelength conversion part (6) is formed on the upper surface (4a) of the LED element (4), bottom surface (2a) of the package (2), and the inside wall surface (2b) of the package (2). All of the thicknesses of the wavelength conversion part (6) on each of these surfaces fit within a range of ± 30% of the average value for the thickness of the wavelength conversion part (6) for that surface.</p> |
