<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector which can detect particular particles out of particles derived from an organism and floating in the air, with high accuracy and in real time. <P>SOLUTION: A detector comprises a separator 700 for separating a particle larger than a separated particle size, and a detection unit for detecting a particle derived from an organism from the air after the separation. At an introduction hole 70 of the separator 700, there is provided a shutter 70A for changing a cross section area thereof. When a particle to be a detection object is designated, the shutter 70A is moved for a slide amount corresponding to the cross section area of the introduction hole 70 by which a particle size of the particle serves as the separated particle size. Thus, a particle larger than the particle being a detection object is removed from the introduced air, and then the air is introduced into the detection unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
