<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device that can extend battery life preventing unnecessary consumption of an internal battery by allowing for detection of occurrence of error carrier sense due to noise with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication device comprises: a transmission and reception unit 11 for performing carrier sense and radio communication; a carrier sense counting unit 121 for counting the number of times of carrier sense which the transmission and reception unit 11 has performed; and an error carrier sense determination unit 122 for determining that an error of carrier sense is occurring if the number counted by the carrier sense counting unit 121 exceeds a predetermined decision reference number. The number of times of carrier sense may be the number of start times of demodulation of a reception signal, or the number of times when a reception signal is determined not to be a signal destined to its own device after the start of demodulation of the reception signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
