<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting apparatus and a suction tool of the same which can prevent such a situation that a suction tool comes off from a mounting head when performing air blow by a positive pressure supply. <P>SOLUTION: In a component mounting apparatus 1, a suction tool 15 is held at the bottom edge of a mounting head 14 by applying a negative pressure to a tool holding surface side recess portion 23 arranged on a tool holding surface 14S in such a state that the tool holding surface 14S at the bottom edge of the mounting head 14 is in contact with a held surface 15S at the top edge of the suction tool 15, and a component 3 is attached to the bottom edge of the suction tool 15 by applying a negative pressure to a guide groove 31 arranged at the held surface 15S of the suction tool 15 and a component suction hole 32 extending downward from the guide groove 31. A held surface side recess portion 33 is arranged on the held surface 15S of the suction tool 15 so as to increase an area where the negative pressure is applied to the held surface 15S in communication with the tool holding surface side recess portion 23 in such a state that the held surface 15S is in contact with the tool holding surface 14S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
