<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear supporting structure capable of reducing noise generation from an engine body via a gear shaft bearing by reducing vibration transmission from a gear side to a gear shaft side. <P>SOLUTION: The gear supporting structure 10 includes a gear 11 having a shaft insertion hole 15 provided at the center part 12, a gear shaft 13 inserted into the shaft insertion hole 15 of the gear shaft 11 and having a bolt hole 17 provided at the leading edge 16, and a gear fixing bolt 20 screwed into the bolt hole 17 of the gear shaft 13 for fixing the gear 11 to the gear shaft 13. In order to reduce the vibration transmission from the gear 11 side to the gear shaft 13 side, a damping sleeve 22 made of a material with a higher vibration damping ratio than that of the gear 11 and the gear shaft 13 is interposed between an inner peripheral surface of the shaft insertion hole 15 of the gear 11 and an outer peripheral surface of the leading edge 16 of the gear shaft 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
