METHOD FOR CORRECTING ROLL PAPER SKEW AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting a roll paper skew that can efficiently correct the skew for a short time, and to provide an image forming apparatus.

SOLUTION: The method includes: an image forming part 2 that forms an image on recording paper; a resist roller 34 that conveys the roll paper as recording paper toward the image forming part 2; and a back tension applying means that applies a conveyance load to the conveyance of the resist roller 34. The method intermittently conveys the roll paper by controlling the drive of the resist roller 34 and accelerates the roll paper until a target speed at high acceleration at the time and decelerates the resist roller 34 during the acceleration.
