<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing tool capable of simply and surely fixing a fin for a surfboard. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing tool A is an engagement fitting having a pair of diagonal corners of a rectangle made into large R shapes, integrates a screw pin B having a male screw and has a resin nut C with a female screw in the center. The screw pin for the fixing tool is inserted from the top section of a through hole for attachment which is in a rear end section of the fin and the resin nut is screwed into the screw pin from the bottom section side of the fin. A dropping prevention fitting which projects in both directions from a front end section of the fin is inserted into an insertion recess of a fin box imbedded in a bottom surface rear section of the surfboard and then the engagement section inside the fin box is slid to move the fin to the front side of the surfboard. The fin is pushed into the fin box, the resin nut that fastens the fixing fitting attached to the fin is loosened, the screw pin in rotated, an R surface of the fixing fitting is engaged to an engagement wall inside the fin box and the fin is fixed by fastening the resin nut. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
