<p>The treatment instrument for endoscopes is provided with: a treatment part for treating tissue inside a body cavity; an operation part for operating the treatment part; an operation axis part for connecting the treatment part with the operation part; and a multi-stranded coil sheath formed by helically winding a wire bundle, which has multiple wires disposed side by side in the radial direction, wherein the operation axis part is inserted so as to allow advancement and retraction thereof. The multi-stranded coil sheath has fixed parts that are disposed at intervals in the longitudinal direction and restrict a first relative motion between the multiple wires and a second relative motion between adjacent portions of the helically wound wire bundle.</p> |
